Ministries of the Church
Children's Ministry
We provide a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where our youngest members can discover God's love. We lay the spiritual foundation for a lifelong journey of faith through Sunday School, a Children's Moment with the Pastor, Children's Church (available during the Worship time), Vacation Bible School, Christmas and Easter events, and other special events throughout the year.
Our children are also invited to serve as acolytes for our Worship service.
Youth Ministry
Empowering the next generation through faith and fellowship, our youth program provides a dynamic space for young people grades 6 and up to explore their faith, build strong friendships, and serve their church and community with a joyful heart.
Our youth have a Sunday School class, Youth Group, and many opportunities to participate in the ministries of the church through service and special events such as our Christmas play. Recently, the youth group volunteered at the Charlotte County Food Bank.
The youth group meets after Worship Service on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Music Ministry
This ministry includes our sanctuary choir who elevates our worship through the power of music. This group is led by Pianist Deborah Bane who fosters a deep connection to faith through choral excellence and shared praise.
Adult Ministry
We build strong relationships and deepen our faith through Adult Ministries. We provide opportunites for spiritual growth through Sunday School Bible studies, small groups, and outreach initiatives that put Christ’s love into action.
Women's Ministry
The Women of the Church (WOC) meets monthly for prayer, devotionals, and mission work. The WOC seeks to foster deeper relationships and spiritual growth through meaningful church fellowship. All women are welcome to attend and participate.
Local & Global Missions
At New Hope Methodist Church, our faith is put into action through dedicated outreach. We serve as the hands and feet of Jesus by supporting local projects in Charlotte County such as the Charlotte County Food Bank and the Trucker's Parade Against Cancer as well as sustaining other partnerships that bring aid and hope within the United States and globally. Whether through service projects or mission giving, we empower our congregation to be a light in the world.
